Will It Ever End?

Last year at this time, I’m sure we had some days of spring.  I noticed on our calendar that we spring forward on the second Sunday of March (March 9?), Elina’s got March break (March 10 to 14) – she’ll be at daycare on a daily basis.  Then there’s Easter on March 21 (Good Friday [...]

Spice Women (Girls) Pix – Final Concert here in Toronto

It was really a fun night out with the girls! I was lucky enough to find tickets on Ticketmaster the day before on the 15th row – two 20 something girls showed up just before the show started and said they paid someone outside $600 for 2 seats – and they saw the show the [...]

Thanks to a little over the counter medication (I’ve got a cold – sinus, headache, fever – we spent the entire day inside yesterday – poor Elina). I’m going to attempt Beaches Family Day Activities today on Queen Street. Thanks to Premier Dalton McGuinty, we have a new holiday – called Family Day. [...]

Photo Catch-Up

Here are a few photos I’ve been wanting to post:
Herman tossed Daisy into the front yard snowbank. (Its sort of an initiation – he did it to Peps a few years back)

We had some friends over and Elina was goofing off – with a slice of baguette.  Emily & Julia are wondering what on [...]

Happy Belated Valentine’s Day

We celebrated as a family together – with dinner out at a local restaurant on Queen Street.  Elina and Daddy then came home to eat some of the chocolate I bought them.  Elina  then went through her Valentine cards from school.  Its so sweet to see all of the home-made cards and little signatures of [...]

Commute? Not Me!

The day I have to commute in traffic like this, especially on a day like today, we will certainly move to another city.  If you noticed the number of lanes east and westbound 401 – its 8 one way and 8 the other, total 16 lanes of traffic.
20cm snow, snow in Toronto…haha, call out the [...]
