Movie Classics

Thanks to Heather from Michigan Elina’s acquired a few classic movies that we’ve been watching and enjoying.  They have both have had Elina watching TV with her mouth partially open, mesmerized by the music and dancing.  I doubt she’ll abandon Barbie anytime soon!

Travel Advisory to Panama

Goodness, just when I thought we had a fantastic vacation, I was searching for advisory warnings for Pakistan – especially in light of the assignation of Benazir Bhutto and because friends of ours have parents visiting Pakistan now. So I go to the Department of Foreign Affairs website to find that Panama has [...]

Our Christmas

After waking late on Christmas Day – Elina ran into our room excited about the presents under the tree. She opened all of her presents and played with her favorite princess carriage and Cinderella doll. We then lazed around until it was time to go to Lori & Shawn’s place for Christmas dinner. [...]

Favorite Panama Pix

Here are a few of my favorite pix of Panama:

A few days before Christmas eve, I wore my Christmas hat and Elina practiced her swimming skills!
We took a local bus into Penonomé – about 30 minutes north of our resort in Playa del Farallon. These were about 2 hours west of Panama City.

Merry Christmas Eve

Daddy’s not feeling 100% and came home and is right in bed.  Elina’s super psyched for Santa’s arrival tomorrow morning, (not before 9 AM) – she’s just off to bed now after a small snack and a drink.

Elina’s Toes Are Ready for Panama

Here are Elina’s toes, like em?

P.S. I did not stamp and ink her toes.  They were painted and those are little sticky things bought at a salon!

Milestones and Celebrations

I just realized that this month I passed a few milestones:

I have been working full time at the University of Toronto for 5 years on December 1 (I had been working 20 months before on a contract so all together it’s nearing 7 years)
I have been a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for 1 year
I have recruited [...]

Christmas Tree Is Up

We put our Christmas tree up this year and Elina and her Daddyo had a fun time putting it all together. She was amazed at all of the cute ornaments we’ve accumulated over the years. We do have a real tree as we have had since Elina came into our lives. We [...]
