I broke the intermediate cuneiform bone, on my left foot (not the same foot as 2005). The ER report that I need to take to the fracture clinic gives this info. I feel much better than 2005, in fact, I’m getting around much better on my big black ski boot type cast! [...]

I hit the back end of a SUV in slow speed this morning. I dented the front end of my bike and cracked a day-time running light. After hitting it (at slow speed), the bike fell sideways and the mainframe landed on my foot! Ouch!

Mr. Geoff Lander (whom we met on vacation about 5 years ago) turned 40 yesterday. Seemed everyone we knew was attending a 40 Year old Birthday party yesterday. We made our rainy day visit to the Ontario Science Centre with Daryn. We did not have much time so we bypassed an Omnimax movie and headed straight to Kidspace. We played some and then the girls took in a workshop on Vermi-Composting (playing with worms):

So today on our drive up to Newmarket and the few moments before we started the drive, Elina turns into overdrive, very excited to see Geoff and Lee and Caine. We went to Geoff’s big Four Oh party. It was supposed to be no kids but there were a few who attended.

We have one more session of summer soccer with Sportball and then, one more week of daycare, and then school starts and then we get to start Saturday morning Sportball (Multi-sport) again on September 8 – until just before Christmas!!
