Convention Update – Day 1

Denver Welcomes Stampin’ Up. On one of the street posts with the Denver Hyatt Regency in the background!

I did manage myself and a few people a Ribbon Sampler!

You can definitely feel the difference in the altitude (Mile High City) – its not as hot as I expected strike that, I just got back [...]

Convention Update – Travelling Day

Written day after travelling….
Flight uneventful.  Quick, full.  Arrived with the MOST agonizing foot-cramp like never before, only got worst as the day went on.  Checked into room with Lisa my wonderful roomie from Los Angeles, CA.  Comfy bed, 4 pillows, soft and dreamy, nice and close to the action.  Had supper at the Cheesecake Factory [...]

Denver Here I Come

Off to my first Stampin’ Up Convention today.  Elina’s excited to be spending some days alone with daddy, except if I cannot find a rubber chicken, I’m certain that some puffy pink princess dress will make up for it! She’s got much planned while I’m gone, including a sleepover with Madison.  I’ve made a bag [...]

The Twisted Wheel Scooter Rally

Today we attended the Twisted Wheel Scooter Rally – something like the Alphascoot last year. We all went for a free breakfast and Herman & Elina watched me leave on a nice ride across the city! There were about 150 scooters all together:

Here are more photos of all the Vespas

Rubber Chicken

So, I’ve been talking alot about my 5 day trip to Denver, Colorado for the Stampin’ Up Convention and yesterday I asked Elina what she wanted me to bring her back from Denver.
She says …
“A Rubber Chicken”

“Not anything Barbie”
“Nope, A Rubber Chicken”
Where [...]

I promised myself to stay cool (keep my cool…not be frazzled) but all the hype on this board. The women and people running at you with paper and embellishments [...]

Miss Alyssa – Pic River PowWow 2007

This is the absolute most beautiful photo I’ve seen of Elina’s cousin – Baby Alyssa, I hope I get a full-print of it for my scrapbook. She is growing up to be such a beauty. I made a site for Alyssa – who was born just under 28 weeks gestation – she had such struggles [...]

Another Feverish Night But..

Herman stayed home today while I went to work (had a few things I needed to attend to). Last night Elina’s temperature spiked to its highest 39.3 C (103F), so we had to give her more medication, put a fan into her room to keep her cool (got warm last night). She [...]

Feverish Little Girl

Its so terribly sad for me to see Elina not well.  She’s all together quite healthy, on the few times she’s  had a fever, she never wants to just lie down and rest, but today, she’s eating some.  I get her to drink some iced water, and she’s been lying on the couch, with bunnies [...]

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I broke down and bought myself the Harry Potter book! I had pre-ordered a copy for my nieces’ birthday in May and didn’t think I’d want to read it till all the hype so I’ll take it with me to Denver next week and hopefully get some time to read it! I did not [...]
