A Diary of An Ordinary Family Doing Ordinary Things ….
Last night I sat down with full intention to be creative, make a few cards to sell (attempt to) during our annual Wayland Avenue yard sale this Saturday morning.
The creative genius in me hit a block, big time, I spent most of it jumping from idea to idea and in the end ended up organizing stuff and went to bed to read a book (only to wake up at about 3 AM with the lights on and the book on the floor).
My remedy – order more stamps!!!! I read – on an almost daily basis a blog called Canadians Stamp & Scrap (a Canadian eh!) and love the sets she’s been using lately from Pink Cat Studio (Canadian eh) and ordered the Cats set, they are unmounted rubber stamps, which come with an adhesive that you can mount and re-use on acrylic blocks. I know I’m a Stampin’ Up demonstrator but I am a hobby demonstrator – doing it for fun than profit!
Now, one of these days, after this block I will start posting my work here!!
Thanks for dropping by - please email me at d_anker@me.com if you have any questions.

Hi again. I had to laugh reading about Elinas lies and the issue with the toilet. A year ago I found Barbies shoes and clothes folded neatly together beside the toilet. Barbie was missing. I quess she went for a dive. We never saw her again.
One of the things I always do when I’m stuck on cardmaking is tidy my room, it usually helps, or surf the net for interesting galleries to get inspired.
Good luck with your new stamps! Its always nice to try out new brands and styles to develop more as a cardmaker. I’m looking forward to seeing the cards that you will make with them!!
