A few years ago we visited Norway and stayed with some very wonderful friends of ours who happen to have 2 children, one an older girl and a boy her age. Well, this little girl dressed up Elina, on a daily basis, in princess outfits. Here are the Oslo 2004 Photos.
Well, it appears that girl type behavior is embedded into little girl brains wearing pink princess dresses and walking on their tippy toes!
It appears that Disney’s 12 Dancing Princesses has has its desired effect on Elina, she doesn’t even wear normal jammies to bed any longer, its all about puffy-ness and pink-ness! I rented Barbie Nutcracker and I doubt I’ll be able to return it. We also have Barbie Rapunzel (a little scary for her now, so we’ll put it away for a while. On her wish list is Barbie Fairytopia – Magic of the Rainbow DVD (due out this spring, she watches the previews of it over and over!!
